Seeing through the Eyes of the Mona Lisa, a group exhibition of random photography
curated by Yossi Govrin & Krista Augius
Arena 1 Gallery is pleased to present Seeing through the Eyes of the Mona Lisa, an exhibition exploring the randomness of photography as a discipline.
In this unique exhibition artists and non-traditional artists will be exhibiting in a random way in a gallery space. All subject matters are exepted to allow maximum expression of how we see and experience our daily life. At the opening night all visitors will be provided with a Mona Lisa mask, creating a feeling of performance. Baropue Music will be played during the reception.
The Mona Lisa represents our unified singular vision, through which we see each other and the work on display.
Arena 1 is an exhibition space founded by Santa Monica Art Studios directors Yossi Govrin and Sherry Frumkin. Based in an historic hangar at the Santa Monica Airport, Arena 1 invites internationally known as well as newly established curators to develop innovative and compelling exhibitions.
